This year's Uptown Art Expo was nothing short of incredible! We had the privilege of welcoming around 200 amazing individuals—from ages 1 to 90—who came together to leave their mark on our community mural. 🙌💫
It was a day filled with vibrant creativity, a deep appreciation for our local history, and a beautiful sense of connection. The mural, a symbol of our collective efforts, tells a unique story with every brushstroke, and together, we've created something truly special for our community.
But the art doesn’t stop here!
The murals created by the elementary schools will remain on display until March 16th, and bidding is still open. Don’t miss your chance to win your favorite piece—plus, all proceeds go straight back to the schools to support their programs. Put in your bid today!
In addition, don’t forget to check out Craig Thomas’ exhibit, which will be up at the History Center through the end of the month. His work is definitely worth a visit, so make sure to stop by and experience his art in person.
And finally, our collaborative community mural will soon be hanging in the Ross Building! Make sure to walk uptown and see your contribution to the artwork—it’s a lasting symbol of how art unites us all.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to make this event so memorable. Your energy, passion, and enthusiasm were the heart of this event. From the youngest participants to our most seasoned artists, you all made this event a huge success. 💖
We also want to give a special thank you to our wonderful sponsors: Sam's Fine Jewelry, Main Street Flooring, and The History Center. Your support made this event possible, and we’re incredibly grateful for your contributions to our community!
Here’s to many more days of history, art, and community—let's keep creating together! 🎨✨
